Reform Councillor Confused After Being Told He Can’t Make Executive Orders
WALSALL, ENGLAND—Distraught after being informed that British politics functions in a different manner to other nations like the U.S., Thomas Hale, a newly elected Reform UK councillor for Walsall, expressed confusion after being told he cannot make executive orders. "What do you mean I can't make executive orders? Huh? What the hell am I meant to do then? Oh, represent the people who live in my local area? Develop policy? Help ensure services are provided? Help enforce regulations? Boring!" said Mr. Hale after a reporter explained his new job to him. "But I've seen Trump make all those awesome executive orders. You remember that one he did about shower heads or whatever the fuck? So amazing. Honestly, I have no clue what I'm going to do now. Guess I got this fab rosette." The new councillor also seemed more upset after learning that executive orders don't functionally exist in Britain like they do elsewhere, and would likely require the UK to become a republic to have that be implemented. At press time, Thomas Hale was inconsolable after entering his new office and realising there wasn't a switch that would magically stop the boats on his desk.
