Gamers and PlayStation fans rebuked the announcement swiftly, with many furious at the prospect of either having to sell their kidneys in order to afford a GPU and the RAM required to build a gaming PC, or in what many described on forums and social media as the "ultimate humiliation," switching over to XBOX.
