CONCORD, NH—When asked by his teacher Thursday morning what he wanted to be when he grew up, five-year-old Archie Poole said he aspires to be the President of the United States when he turns 90.

"I want to be the president!" shouted the excited young boy as he proudly held up a crayon drawing of himself as a wheelchair-bound, grey-haired, wrinkly nonagenarian. "I'm going to be the best president! I'll be all sad and old, but I'll be the best! I might not remember everything thanks to dementia, but that doesn't matter! The president is super old right now, so it must be fine!"

The five-year-old continued, explaining that seeing Senator Mitch McConnell remain a fixture of Congress at the age of 84 had inspired him to achieve an even larger feat: assuming the presidency while being at death's door.

"I'm quite worried for Archie," said Isla Hall, one of the five-year-olds elementary school teachers. "I mean, just look at the drawings he's handed in. For one, you have one where he pledges to deport all transgender people to Guantanamo Bay once he's in his eighties, and another where he turns the Supreme Court into a literal circus while serving as president at age 92. Although, to be fair, this drawing of himself turning Congress into a soft play arena is actually pretty fun."

At press time, Archie's parents and teacher grew concerned that the boy's career goals were entirely unrealistic, warning him that he would likely need to be at least 100-years-old before he would be fit for the Oval Office.
